I am most commonly known as Twig. I'm from Midland, Tx where I currently reside with my family. I grew up in a family that loves Jesus and loves to travel. Upon many family vacations to different parts of Central America I developed a heart for the Hispanic culture. When my parents moved to Guatemala for a few years, along with some friends, I visited some orphanages and various ministries. Just after graduating high school I went through the Fire Academy and EMT training courses, however, shortly after, I felt God calling me into a life of full-time ministry. Upon hearing that calling I traveled to Northern Ireland for 2 years in order to apprentice with Pais Movement, an international organization devoted to equipping young adults to empower students to spread the Gospel in their local schools. The Pais Movement was monumental in helping me grow out of the shyness that once contained my charismatic personality. There in Northern Ireland, I gained hands-on ministry experience in coordinating and running different youth projects, along with running a team made up missionaries from different countries and cultures including Germany, Great Britain, India, and the USA. I have a passion to see people encounter God in life changing ways. I am always looking for ways to expand my creative mind and I’m always ready to take on a challenge. My role within our team spans many different devices such as leading our worship times and helping to expand and update our social media presence online along with other ministry opportunities.

I am from Dallas, Texas but I am currently living in Midland. I am the youngest of five boys and I come from a heritage of pastors, my grandfather and uncle having been one. Upon salvation in 2008, I knew that I was called to be an evangelist and began pursuing the Lords calling in my life. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Mission with a minor in Spanish from Wayland Baptist University in 2015. At Wayland, I played for three years on their Football team where my passion for college and sports ministry began to grow. I have served as a youth and associate pastor in a local church setting, as well as, been on leadership teams for college groups like BSM and FCA. In 2011, I visited Stephany and Alex in Houston and had the opportunity to meet Stephany’s mother. It was during that encounter that I felt lead to minor in Spanish and a call to Latin America. Once approached to go, I felt the calling to be apart of the community in Bogotá with the team as we strive to build an Acts 2:42 environment. I decided to join the Bogota team in March 2015 after praying about it just under a year. I am excited to put everything God has taught me, whether in school or through experience, to good use in Colombia.

Three words to describe me would be joyful, adventurous and silly. I grew up in Midland, Texas in a loving home with parents who faithfully taught me about Jesus. I came to know the Lord when I was ten and recognized God gave me a heart for the Nations in 10th grade. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2015. Prior to graduation, God had started orchestrating my move to Bogota, Colombia in August 2014. I had begun asking God to reveal if the next season of my life would be spent overseas sharing His love and fulfilling the deep desire to go that He placed in my heart 6 years earlier or if I would be finding a job in America. Four days later, I was contacted by the Moore’s sharing the vision God gave them about a team of 6 moving to Bogota, Colombia. Receiving their news with joy, I began seeking God to see if this was where He was leading me. After many confirmations, I confidently knew this was the next step. God invited me on a journey and I had the choice to be obedient or not. I chose obedience! I am so excited and expectant for what God will do and is already doing within Colombia and can’t wait to be a part of it!

Three years ago I was living in Northeast England as a short-term missionary and I felt God re-routing my life towards missions long-term. After England, God placed me back in my hometown of Austin, Texas to grow and refine my faith, a necessary season to prepare me for the future. I've always loved Spanish and learning about Latin American cultures, so Bogotá is an opportunity for me to further explore why the Holy Spirit has put that on my heart. I have a huge passion for young people and I am so excited to build relationships with the college students in Bogotá, sharing the freedom and life that Christ offers.

Alex & Stephany Moore

Alex and I have been married for 10 years. We are the proud parents of Stephen (3) and Matthew (2). Ever since we married each other we knew that God had asked us to live a different type of life. After seeing over 21 countries we realized the desperate need for Jesus Christ and we wanted to be a part of spreading the gospel through the nations. We have served in very many different ministries including Middle school, High school, and College ministry, and we are also on the board of Little Changes International. I, Stephany, have a major in Hispanic Studies and minor in International Business, and I am excited that I finally get to use my college degree! We both have a passion for sharing the love of Christ and we are so honored that God would call us to move to a place that is dear to our hearts. We both have the desire to see a generation of students rise up in faith and stand firm in the hope that lies within Jesus Christ.

“For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Isaiah 55:12
