Seeds of Hope

“The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing others’ loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of the holidays.”

~ W. C. Jones

Seeds of Hope | Armenia, Colombia

We have an ongoing partnership with Seeds of Hope, a Colombian organization that helps rescue children from the streets of Armenia. Some of these children have been abandoned. Others are forced to work in the streets in order to provide money for their household while being exposed to drugs, violence and the dangers of the street.  Sonia is a Christ-loving woman who has given up everything in order to serve these children. She alone has rescued hundreds of at-risk children and has also helped many be placed back into school.

Little Changes helps Sonia and her foundation by sponsoring a home that houses 35 to 40 children. Your donations go towards food, activities, counseling, and the overall operating expenses for the home. Our project helps these children go back to school and have a family to call their own. Please help us make an impact in this city by loving “the least of these” and continue to raise funds to maintain their house. In the future, we would love to have an onsite volunteer overseeing all operations and helping Sonia with the organization of the project. Our goal and biggest dream for this year is to have a house of our own to be able to focus all of our efforts in making the project self sustainable. We are currently discussing the possibility of getting a lot through a government grant. We would need to then raise funds for building the house. If you feel called to give of your money or your time, please prayerfully consider getting involved with this project.

For $1 a day you can provide housing for a child for a whole month.

Consider becoming a recurring donor and give a child a hope for a future

100% of your donation goes towards the cause.

$180 will support a child for a 6 month period. This will ensure that the child has housing, schooling, food and that all other needs are met.
